Official material confirms vehicles as part of the core combined-arms design. Players can spend persistent cash on vehicles, use transport to move teammates or supplies, and employ heavier options as part of the fight around the Control Zone.

What was recorded in the Closed Alpha?

A verified Closed Alpha catalogue recorded 20 vehicles: 14 land vehicles and 6 helicopters. The alpha vendor separated LAND and AIR options, with categories such as transport, tanks, artillery, combat aircraft, and air transport represented in the captured build.

Those figures describe the alpha material, not a guaranteed September 10 roster. Vehicle availability, names, prices, progression gates, and balance can still change.

How do vehicles fit the economy?

Official WARDOGS material says players use cash to buy each life’s loadout, including vehicles. Cash persists between matches, so committing to a vehicle is part of the same long-term spending decision as weapons and equipment.

Vehicles also connect directly to support play. Official descriptions mention transporting friendlies, ferrying supplies by helicopter, heavily armoured tanks, and artillery as ways players can contribute beyond infantry gunfights.

Are more vehicle types planned?

The developers say they plan broader vehicle variety during Early Access and specifically mention fighter jets as a planned future vehicle type. That is a development plan, not confirmation that fighter jets will be present in the initial Early Access build.
